Imperial Banquets and Meetings

Perhaps the most famous gathering places of the British and Indian high society, the Imperial Hotel in Delhi has retained its old charm and private atmosphere. At the Imperial Hotel the likes of Nehru, Gandhi, Jinnah or Lord Mountbatten made history. Till today the hotel is the preferred choice for those who seek state of the art facilities, serene surroundings and discreet and prompt services for their most important events. The Royal Ballroom can accommodate up to 500 guests auditorium style, whereas for the exclusive meetings, the hotel can put at the disposal of its distinguished guests 3 rooms that can accommodate 20 to 50 people each.

Business Centre, Separate Executive Floor, Executive Lounge, Banquet & Conference facilities, Secretarial services and a central location constitute the ideal venue for top end meetings, business conferences and high class events.

The Royal Ballrom

Probably the only authentic ballroom remaining in India with a spring floor that reduces noise levels, the Royal Ballroom evokes the splendor of Lords and Ladies bowing and courtesying, before they swirled across the floor to the strains of waltz. This is where the distinguished guests amused themselves when the Hotel was opened in 1931 and this is the room where the first grand Ball was held in the presence of Lord Willingdon.

Emily Eden and Hodges Rooms

For corporate events, the Hotel offers luxurious and well appointed Emily Eden and Hodges rooms with an impeccable setting, ideal for a conference of 20 to 50 guests. State-of-the art sound system makes these venues a preferred choice for closed-door meetings, private get-togethers and small dinner events.
